Tigray

Following an escalation of tensions between the Ethiopian central government and the Tigray People's Liberation Front on the 4 November 2020, what is considered the bloodiest war of the 21st century began.

According to the Human Rights Institute of the International Bar Association for the Parliamentary Group on International Law, Justice and Accountability (APPG)

in a period of two years 600,000 people were killed, over one million were forced to flee their homes, and more than 120,000 became victims of sexual violence.
