I'm a Uruguayan photojournalist and documentary filmmaker based in Kyiv. My work centers on conflict-related sexual violence as a weapon of war, with long-term fieldwork across Ukraine, Tigray, Lebanon, Syria, Morocco, and the Central Mediterranean. Alongside this focus, I report on active conflict, from the front lines and daily life under war in Ukraine to the escalations in Lebanon, documenting both the violence itself and the long, often invisible process of survival that follows.
 

My work has been published and commissioned by some of the world's leading media outlets, agencies, and organizations, including National Geographic, The Guardian, BBC, CNN, AP, Getty Images, and UNHCR, and has been recognized with the Tom Stoddart Award for Excellence (2024), the África Mundi Award for Best Photographic Publication of the Year (2025), and two Amnesty International Media Awards (2026).

Since November 2025, I serve as Communications and Liaison Officer at the United Nations Resident Coordinator's Office in Ukraine.
